Ha ha! My wife is fairly scared to ride on her own, but does have a little Honda dirt bike to play on.

My Mom had a run of wanting to ride herself. We were at a dealership somewhere around 1983-4 and there was a Honda V65 Sabre sitting there with the full fairing. That fit her pretty well too!

Guess it wasn’t meant to be once she learned more about the engine...

I guess I am fortunate. My Better Half has never shown any interest in riding her own bike. I did put her in the drivers seat of my Father's 1500 trike in a parking lot once. She had fun but no desire to take it any further than that. I take her out on mine for an Ice Cream run a couple times a summer and that is enough for her.

Depends on how you look at it, lol! Robin loves to ride with me, and tooling through the countryside discovering new sights is something we can enjoy together. She also understands that sometimes I just need some solo saddle time. One nice thing about riding two-up is that I can have it both ways... I think having her on her own bike would cause me too much worry, lol!

You are right. I would love it very much if she would take trips with me.

+1 to that.

I pretty much can't go anywhere without my wife wanting to come along and I don't mind one bit.

my wife took the motorcycle safety course with me and has her own bike. She hasn't ridden it as much as I have but I'm letting her do it on her own time.

My wife will be enrolling in a motorcycle safety course this spring, she loves riding with me but she was seeing more and more women riding and decided she wants to ride her own as well. I restored a 71 cb350 twin for her and she loves it but I recently acquired a 75 cb400F that will eventually be hers once she's ready for something with a bit more power. We tend to draw a lot of attention when she's on her 350 and I'm on my 750.

My wife does not share my recent love of MCing. I offered to get her a bike but she would have none of it.
I however, have taken up maintaining most of her sewing machines. If I keep her sewing, it gives me more time to ride.
