Around Christmas time last year I bought this little baby home.

It had a Vetter Windjammer fairing fitted at one point with some saddlebags and a top box that
I took an immediate dislike to as it looked like a coffin from the end.
I donated all this stuff to my friend along with a plastic front fender.
It had a Corbin King and Queen seat which had to go too.

It was a non runner, but the engine was free to turn over with the kickstarter.
It had been stored for about 5 years in a shed which was used to store other vehicles.
The Previous owner had sprayed grease all over the chrome parts, but there was still a
bit of rust in places. It was he that removed the fairing and boxes.

The story was that the PO is an Electrician and had done some work for some person who worked in the US
and was fixing up a holiday home in Ireland. Some kind of motorcycle was to be shipped to Ireland as part payment
for the work he had done and this machine was to be flown to Cork from the US.
Anyway to make a long story longer, the PO went to collect this bike at the airport and was disgusted to see this awful looking yellow
pig of a thing. He rode it home after presumably ponying up some import taxes and stuff. He then abandoned it in his shed in disgust
and he says he started it up a few times and it ran fine. I found out about it some time ago through a mutual acquaintance of the PO
and it took me a while to get pictures and a contact phone number for the guy.
I went to see it in my big van, we did a deal, I ponied up the cash and loaded the bike.

Back home I tool off the seat and put on a 78 seat that I have in stock.
Looks better already.

I know the 78 seat is wrong, but to me the King and Queen is wronger.
I will get my hands on a correct seat at some point, so for now the 78 will do.

I made out a list of things to do (Including timing belts before you lot chime in reminding me to change them :-D )

Front fender (mudguard) to be sourced and fitted.
Indicators to be fitted to the front.
Headlight guts to be sourced and fitted
Reflecters to be relocated to beside the headlight
Rear Foot pegs needed
Rear grab rail and indicators, I have these they just need to be fitted
Hinges needed for the shelter sides also the retaining cables.
Rear shocks to be replaced.

A good clean up and touch up of rusty bits.

Wiring is a mess. There was a flying loom for the fairing and the cables were simply pushed into the connecters.
This was after it had all been removed>

Interestingly, a Dyna3 system was fitted at some time in the past. The Dyna connections to the coils were just taped up
and it looks like a new set of contact points were fitted. The bike last ran on points it seems.
