Here's what the inside of the fat bob tanks on my 82 GL frame look like on the inside . Those twqo creeses in thwe top of the tank are where the stock dash and gauges use to go , if you like I'll post pics of that also , quite unique looking , I got good work on that . Our Man Fat Wing has a Yamaha tank on his wing , Looks great , and its a one piece tank . What I may do this off season is join the two pieces as one tank , that way it'll give me another oh gallon and a half .

Looks good. It's about my only hope for something decent, and about that size. I'd probably run the factory Harley stuff, too.

The only thing is I had to swap the speedo cable cause it was to short and use the tach cable as it is longer , they are exactly the same only just swap them . Now that was for my 82 here , I'm not sure if the cables are the same in ohter years . ( Z )

Thanks Bandanna , The bike is almost ready as it is but yes , I wouldn't mind changing to spokes . I'm in the prosses of making forward controls now , and also my single barrel carb and plenum I'm almost done with but havn't tested yet . But wheels are on deck though . ( Z )
