Hello and happy riding!

I thought I'd joined at least most of the Goldwing groups on the internet (sites like this, Facebook, and Reddit most recently) but it seems I've missed a good one.

I'm Brandon from WV and have been in love with the Goldwing since I was a kid and rode on the back of one for an awesome ride through scenic WV. The motorcycle I always wanted as a teenager wasn't the loud Harley but the big brute looking Valkyrie. Lo and behold right!

Anywho I currently have a 1982 GL1100 Standard in about 1000 pieces. Life got in the way mid head gasket change and the old bike is in sad shape but the pandemic lockdown has given me a few minutes of free time to get caught up and out with my knees in the breeze.

My first bike was an 86 Nighthawk that was a bit small for me as I'm a big guy. Sold the Hawk to a good friend who is treating her well and acquired my first Goldwing. Had a brief summer on an 82 Silverwing but wrench time on that one meant less time on the Goldwing so the little bike went the way of Craigslist.

I love this old bike but some parts are getting harder to find.

Nice joining you all. Safe travels!
