Nice to find another Montreal Winger. Perhaps if COVID is ever
under control we could meet up.

My buddy has a 76 Wing unused in his garage that I put a Randakk
carb kit in. He had an accident a few years ago and retired from riding.
I swapped out the forks and gave it back to him. Maybe needs a new hom?

You want my 79? Gimme a dollar and a beer.......

I've spent way too much time wrenching on it.

Welcome to NGW. Great bunch here. I’m in Ottawa. Hopefully next season COVID will allow us to go for a ride.

I'd like that - what with covid and waking up this morning to a few more inches of the white stuff, going for a ride with a local winger is definitely something to look forward to.

My family-in-law's all in Ottawa - in the before times we'd visit quite often. I like to ride the 344 along the Ottawa River from MTL to Grenville - maybe we could meet up there for a poutine anim-cheers1

That would be good. I’m actually in Limoges near the Calypso water park. That would be a great run. To Greenville. PM me when we get some nice weather and we can definitely meet up.

Sorry for the late reply - I'll get in touch for sure when I head out your way. With a bit of luck and warmer weather hopefully it won't be that much longer...

Time for an update so here's the skinny. Done so far...

- timing belts
- water pump
- gas tank cleaned and lined
- carbs rebuilt
- cooling system rebuilt
- painted tins
- steering bearings
- engine covers sandblasted

Hhhm. That list ran out of steam fast, not much to show for having this bike up on the bench for three and a half years. Desperately trying to think of other things I've done...failing. No matter. To the victor the spoils. Onwards.
