Finally out of the workshop
Out of the workshop & ridden round our close, really pleased as all seems ok.....hunting on #1 at t/o which will need investigating, check balance of carbs then MOT........then just a case of picking a colour & getting the plastics painted Nicer (I think) rear end from Triumph Thruxton (rack from Yamaha XV).

Yes they are Harley mufflers, Will need re-painting at some point as lots of scratches (which you can't see too well in the photos)......

What's the saddle off? I've been looking for something just like that
"Impossible Is Just a Level of Difficulty!..."
If I'd wanted you to understand, I would have explained it better! (Johann Cruyff)
I’d give my right arm to be ambidextrous!

Seat from a Kawasaki ER5 which has been scalloped out at the front to fit (had to leave off forward seat rail too), quite pleased with the end result.
Also, thanks again for the carb rebuild you did for me John, great job.......

Looks great.
+1 on not going in for a color change. Matching front/rear signals, it seems. Nice.
It looks like maybe you've mounted up some different bars (earlier GL1100?) to give a more sporty position/look. Maybe it's just the photos and angles.

Yes, front & rear indicators are Triumph. Handlebars are just off the shelf 8" rise 31" width, I like the look & they are comfy.
