Looking forward to participating here.
I am converting an 85 GL1200 to multiple port fuel injection with COP ignition and preparing for boost to drag race this platform locally.
Intention is to use circa 2005 Honda Civic parts as much as possible right from my local Advanced Auto for project simplicity (and I get a commercial discount).
I have completed my Speeduino hardware build and am collecting components now to begin to understand where I will Mount what and how.
See picture also of the best example I have found on here of the type of intake I would like to build however I am thinking more tubular center section
Thank you

Re: GL1200 Speeduino Honda Civic Parts
Been thinking about this. Need a trigger wheel, the more teeth the better, say 32. Can do the missing tooth trigger wheel.
The '85/'86 Honda EFI system uses an 8 tooth trigger wheel on the crankshaft for crank position, and a Gr/Gl sensor (commonly called the PG sensor) on the aft end of the right cylinder head for injector timing. Discussions I had with Megasquirt indicated that the 8 tooth crankshaft wheel can be used but a wheel with more teeth would be best. Would only have to use one of the "G" sensors. Can use the Honda sensors, do not need to change these.
This pic shows the Ns - crankshaft sensor and trigger wheel: You can see the trigger wheel sandwiched between the timing belt gears, and the sensor is shown. May be a good place to install the trigger wheel, and use the Honda sensor - no modifications for install.
In this picture you can see the Gr and Gl sensors on the back of the right cylinder head: Honda used this setup to emulate a sequential firing system, and to aid in quick starts. There is no EG sensor in this EFI system.
A fellow on this forum used COP on his EFI conversion.
Continuing to follow.
Cheers

Changed my pinout chart to PDF:
A work in progress. I'm trying to maintain the original functionality between the ECU, dash and travel computer, all of which are interconnected. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Super interested in this. Planning on going the Speeduino route when I make the jump into the EFI world. I'm not above copying up to 100% of another man's work either (credit given of course). I've been reading all the threads I can find on EFI, but not much on Speeduino, so I'm looking forward to your success.
