I know this topic is old but will a gl1000 faux tank fit on gl1100 ?

not properly no. I "think" it is too short and the gas tank filler is probably not exactly the same.

As it was said, not a drop on by any means, but I have no doubt it could be made to fit. I was going to go down that road with an 1100, but then did something else.
