Nice bike, really like that seat , I know the front fender from a 1981 Honda cx500 will fit and there’s tons of them on eBay, but nice ride

I might have been using a too high setting on the power washer ;)

Here’s also son pics of the unpainted front fender fastened to the bike.

Any idea why the pics are being rotated even though they look fine on the phone?

Chances are, you are using an IPhone? If so, edit the pic before you post it, ie crop ever so slightly, or tilt slightly etc…then save that, and post the edited picture. It will most likely be straight when you look at it.

Santa came early this year:

First up is a box that replaces most of the 41year old cables, relays and fuses on the bike. It will also allow me to only use two buttons on the handlebars for all controls which is mostly what I bought it for. The two pieces in the lower right are the buttons, I'll see if I'll drill and tap the handlebar or if I come up with another idea.
The fuel indicator dodad is in case I replace the meters completely, not sure yet.

An absolutely stunning saddel from Texavina, with a little dash of that Hond red(the camera makes it a whole lot more red than in reality) ;)
IMG_1455.jpeg
Some new clutch and brake wires, also a new throttle from Biltwell. I'm aware that it is single wire only and all the drawbacks that means. It also does not fit the original honda throttle wire elbow at all, so some custimizing will have to be done.

Blixt & Dunder is a Swedish motorcycle shop, guess it translates to Flash & Thunder

Love the seat, looking forward to seeing it installed and a ride report.

Thanks!
I tried sitting on it my living room and the padding seems pretty hard ;)
But we'll see how it performs on the bike sometime in the spring.

It's normal for a new seat to have a break in period, sometimes up to 1k miles.

Yep, recall putting the corbin gunfighter on my gl1000. It seemed hard at the time but now I would never go back to the stock seat. Give the new seat some time and I am sure it will grow on you. Looks great.

Nice.
I was a little worried but now it feels a lot better ;)

Tried to find rear pegs for the GL1100 but it seems hard to find them around here, got any tips?
