New seal is installed. I just ran about town and checked 3 diff auto parts places. Nobody has belts. Prices started at 20 plus each and would be in Tuesday. Ordered on RockAuto 2 for $24 including shipping be here Wednesday. I should have laid these in a few days ago

That was easy to find, lol! My 1000 is leaking somewhere up there, but it's such a mess that I can't tell which seal(s) are actually leaking. Time to replace all three...

Finally got some time today, upon inspecting my work from 3 weeks ago it looked like a small tear in the seal I just installed. So out it came. Yes it had a nick in it. The boss had a mark from some previous Owner prying out a seal. I dressed that with a diamond polishing bit in my dremel. That worked well. New seal went in nice and smooth. Fresh set of belts and filled her up with new coolant. Checked everything over and she will be ready for a ride tomorrow morning. Friday afternoon traffic and this heat was no way I would go out today. Early tomorrow before it gets hot should be okay

100 plus miles this morning, Bottom of the timing belt cover is dry so fingers crossed this one is done. Ordered a couple pieces to mount up the GPS .

Disturbing. First time the bike has been on the side stand and I saw a puddle of clean oil under it. I moved it 2 days ago and now I see this. Left puddle is obviously valve cover but the right one will require investigation. Will not have time this week. Get to it when I can

I might just be seeing things, but it may be worth giving the subframe a quick stab with a screwdriver while you're down there. That side stand seems oddly far forward, and I know rusty subframes are a common enough problem on the 1200s.

Yep worth a quick check for sure.
I did get down there today and am fairly sure the second leak is from around the starter. So will be getting a new oring for that along with the valve cover gaskets.
