A shot in the dark.... Who bought my bike?!?

So I sold my GL1100 Orange crush 6 years ago or so. The guy Who bought it said he followed the build I had on here. Was just curious if he is still active, and if he still has it?

If you know of the guy or are the guy who bought it, please contact me!

Always liked your bike, but I certainly do not know who bought your bike.

If you have the VIN info then possibly a search at the Register office will answer your question. Here in Ontario you can pay $20.00 for a used vehicle information package, which gives you all the information and past owners of the bike.
Current Bikes:
DISPLAY MODELS:
1966 CL77 - Honda 305cc - Dual purpose - "Gentleman's Scrambler" was a period moniker.
1967 CL175K0 - Low production number with #802 engine serial- winter 2019/2020 full restoration.
1972 CB350F - Baby Four with low mileage - Cosmetic refresh to the next level 2021/2022.
RIDERS AND FUN TOYS:
1978 CB550K - Very original bike with only 7499 Km. from new - light cleanup and refresh done.
1983 CB1100F - Canadian model - DOHC Supersport in pristine low kilometre condition from new.
1984 CX650E - Restored summer 2017 - a rare Eurosport model - excellent one owner bike.

I think each state down here is different. My neighbor in Va was a State Trooper and he ran a Vin for me once as a favor. He told me that it was illegal to do but as a bud he hooked me up with what I needed. After the Federal privacy act in 74 a lot of the individual States got a bit crazy about privacy act stuff. I have no idea of how strict California privacy laws are

in CA the plate transfers to owner unless they specifically want a different one. there are plenty of sites you can look up plates and vins on for a nominal fee. ive tested it, it works :)
