Trust me, I've been contemplating this issue more than once ;)

I do like the retro look of the instrument cluster and I have invested quite some money into it with a new regulator and the new speedo.
But with that said I have been looking at a more modern one like the motogadget mini:

Feels like I should have bought that before I replaced the other parts ;)

The saying goes like this right?
Hindsight is 20/20

Hindsight is always 20/20...many of us have purchased things, only to repurpose them on something else, and then get something different for the old project.

If you really like the look of the stock cluster, then have a peek at the Magna (V45, V65) tachs. Guessing one can be retrofitted into your cluster, and would look a lot like the original. Quite a bit cheaper than that Mini. Just do your research to know which one will best suit what you want to do.
