faring headlight question

#1

Post by quakeholio »

Thought i would post here sence someone might have more experiance or a gl1100 manual. My cb900 has a honda line faring and the short of it is that it's a goldwing faring of the 1980 modle. I've been trying to figure out how to pull it off but i can't come up with anything.

If anyone here has some ideas it would be welcome.

Hi Quakeholio, on your CB you should have the same mounting as the GL1100, aside of the front bracket you could see in front of the fork you have (if I remember correctly, it's been a while) two bolts on each side to remove, to get access to them you have to remove both glove compartment and you'll see them down at the bottom.
