First coat of mud is finished. Went through an entire 4.5 gallon bucket. Had to go get more for after the sanding. Will probably start that tomorrow. The stuff I did a couple days ago is completely dry and ready for sanding. I am really horrible at this and that would be okay except I am also very picky about it, especially the corners and ceiling edges. Typically for me it takes 4-5 coats to get things right, after that the wife throws up a primer coat and I find 20 more spots that need pointed up. So this process will take a while.

Long term I think we have decided to leave the floor as is for now. Once I complete the mud work and we have it in primer I will setup my saws in here to support the work out on the porch. The first big step will be getting the Porch windows out without destroying them. There are 5 units of 3 windows each. Got to be a couple hundred pounds each. Will get a pic up shortly

Those are big window units but certainly hope you can separate the three units else it is a two guy carry.

According to the neighbors they were installed as triple units. I have everything opened up on the inside and I see no way to separate them.

Thinking I will put up a craigslist ad to give them to the person that helps me remove them. But I think that will not be until probably next January

Waiting for parts on the 1200 project so I got the second wall and the rest of the ceiling sanded and second coated today. 2 more walls to go. I think then I will switch over to the lightweight mud. Easier to apply and easier to sand.
