Another riding tip. When you get to Burlington heading north on I-5, get off of I-5 and take 11 north to bellingham. It will take you along Chuckanut Drive and one of the more beautiful coast roads in the state.

sorry for any confusion. DUGG is hosting.

DUGG and I briefly discussed having a bonfire at my place but we didn't have any plans set in stone. and since you two are staying in town it didn't make much sense to come out here and then back into town. I had mentioned the possibility of the bonfire to sunnbobb but hadn't clarified with him it was not happening.

Ok then we are all on the same page then

I agree with Sunnbobb. If you want to miss the traffic, turn north and take hwy 203 at North bend, then hwy 9, then 542 will bring you into Bellingham almost right to my door.

+2 on Chuckanut drive. If they miss it coming up we will hit it on the way out. We are closing up the shop Friday and are going to ride south with Mr & Mrs West for awhile. Anyone else want to join in?

I'm not sure on the speedo cable, I think It might be a tach cable instead. Sunbobb, Hamster do one of you have a speedo cable?

I have an odd, brand new speedo cable that was sold to me as a GL1000 but it has a square drive on both ends & it's not long enough to be a tach cable. there's no slot in the bottom end... prolly won't werk, right?

but if they need a set of throttle cables I have @ least 3, maybe 4 full sets of both and 2 brand new clutch cables, one still in the bag (did they get a new one in MT or fix the one they had?).

Good to see everyone made it. Now for a rest and relax, trip to the east coast then back and down the coast. Great trip to follow. We should all be so lucky.

Ride safe.

Cheers
