Hey Z;
Dont go by what my opinion is or anyone elses by that, go by what is right for you, I was speaking of my own thought there, for me the front tire at the top of this segment, is just way too fat, but thats my opinion not a sudjestion... We all have a different picture of the perfect bike in our own little minds... 8)

For Zrider and others interested in wire wheels. The spokes I used came from Buchanans (www.buchananspokes.com). I just replaced the front rim on my '76 as the old 16" hog rim got too rusty. The stainless spokes just needed a little semichrome polish and they still look great after 20+ yrs. I'm now looking ( and measuring ) a '76 hub for width and I may have it redrilled to accept the 5 hole rotors. so I can customize my '82 "Nekked Wing". Still haven't figured out how to redo the rear wheel yet. BUT it doesn't show much with some old style Wixom bags mounted and is already 16". Also the tires I ran on my '76 were the 16" Goodyears as used on Harleys for years. I think these were a bit narrower than some of the newer tires of today. Willie
