Hey BugHunter ... would you like to join us on Thursday, 8 July, for our pre-event barbecue?

If you want to come to the party, you can get more information in this thread.

But be warned ... we like beer.

Hi all,

Thanks for all welcomes greetings to the AMA Swap meet. Nice to meet you all in the swap area on the friday even if the rain pored down some bit now and then.

As I said my best treasure was the Head light back shell for 20USD and some other small parts. I need a new one since the one I got has been cut a big hole in the back end, so a replacement was needed.

A number of good tips for renovation was also discussed.

Will you upload some pictures at NGW? I got a few!

Take care and hope you all had a safe home trip!

Real nice to meet you at the gathering.

You can upload pics from the swap meet into the Mid-Ohio gallery. Just create a sub-folder for your pics.

In that picture it looks pretty solid. Any rust near swing arm and rear stand or on the subframe?

The tank is also under preparation to prepare coating.
I have blast some areas except where I could heat away the old paint using or where rust had to be removed.

Hi,
Yeah the frame has its rust spots, I have removed the swing arm and center stand.
Not overall in any bad shape but certainly need some treatment to get back like it looked years ago, nice and shiny.

Do you know how to post in the gallary? I homed to upload some pictures from AMA swap meeting 2010 and found the location but can't login?
Do you need a separate account for the Gallary?

Oh that was a meeting to remember!

I do think you may need seperate permissions for the gallery. That's something I need to learn myself.
Way back when Queenie gave me a seperate password for it IIRC.
That was on a previous version of software I think though. It used to be that you posted a request to the person in charge of the gallery.
Enjoy life,

Not the picture expert, but yes the gallery is kind of like a different site with a specific login. You need an account, I think Wiskerfish does that.

Well I have had it for 17 years now, so when was your frame stolen?......
I have surely been over-there getting spear parts but not the frame :orange

Here you can see the shiny stage before it gets all black.

The battery case shown in a blast condition.
It had some severe rust areas that will probably be seen after powder coated as small crater.
See the top hole of the front shackle and you might recognize the small crater surrounding hole.
