Whenever I look at the saddlebags on B.A.D.D.O.G., I will think of Cookie. He was wide open to help everyone on this forum, and his effort to take pictures and post them was certainly appreciated. Just kike Blue Sky, B.A.D.O.G's bag supports began life as a Cookie memorial.

Did he ever explain how the name 'cookie' came? I always wanted to ask that.

Yes he did. I asked him about it one time and asked if it was related to the Cookie Monster. He hated the Cookie Monster and it was just related to his last name being Cook.

His comments/advice when I got the sidecar to rig up to the 'wing.
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

142 years ago today the Golden spike was driven in completing the Transcontinental Railroad. Betcha Cookie new that and probably had some interesting trivia regarding it.
Travel from coast to coast was reduced from six months or more to just one week.

I have'nt been on in a few days and feel awful to hear about Cookies passing.I know many of us dont know each other personally ,though it feels like it,especially at times like this.NGW lost a good man.
