If we make the date June 4th (sorry Steve..), I'll make it and will be coming up the Hwy 101, possibly Friday the third, but otherwise leaving early from here (Atascadero) to where ever the meet up is, if any body wants to join me..

On memorial day weekend, I DON"T want to ride a motorcycle anywhere. Too dangerous for me.

I was thinking that even if we were'nt there,we could just take a ride at that time, were ever we are and we would be there at least in spirit.

This rings a bell for me and I have a suggestion. Although I'd still like a CA ride, I'd like to suggest the following for something on a larger scale...

What would you think of a "Memorial Ride For Cookie" thread composed of the following:

Request that every member (able to participate) make a 'favorite ride'. On that day, they take a picture of themselves and their M/C at a favorite spot, or make a video, hold up a sign, whatever.....just do something for Cookie that involves a dedication. Imagination, style and just plain fun would be the way to go. The thread could build over time and would be a lasting tribute. In addition, it would be a great way to get to see our members. :orange

Sure, why not?
As far as a Ca. ride goes, I can see that setting a date is very difficult, especially if we want it to be an "official" NGW event. Either a very long lead time is needed, or just making it a casual thing between 2 or 3 riders might be the way togo.

When: Sat May 28th Noon Pacific Time, Yes I Know It Memorial Day Weekend, But It Works For Some That Are Traveling Far Distances
Where: Cookie's House San Mateo Cal. PM Me For Details
