Don't forget starter gear.

Check the thickness friction plates. They were well in specs. Picture did not show it.

Thanks,
I think I'm going to revisit the the clutch. After reading Old Folgey's Bin the Damper plate. I'm going to be changing my Cafe clutch as well with Barnett clutch kit and ordered 2 extra plates for it so I can remove the damper from it as well. So when I do it I can take 2 of the old plates from the Cafe and us them on the yellow bike.
Also I have an old stock Barnett kit (just the friction plates and there only 6) that I may us on the yellow bike that is if I can pic up some more friction plates. I seen some more on Ebay.

I am also at the same point as you, took my whole bike apart, just not the 2 engine halves..(very interested :P) But Dont know if that is smart since I will need the silicone gasket sealer like you did.

Is it smart to use ballbearing grease on the bearings that are inside the engine? Like the bearing that is on the driveshaft. Or is the normal engineoil good enough?

I have been told to use light weight grease on bearing assembly as when the engine first fires, you want nothing dry; as it takes a few moments to fill all the passages with engine oil as the oil pump begins working again.

2nd I moved forward to replacing seals on heads
Where did you find the valve spring compression tool? I've been toying with the idea of replacing the valve seals on the right side head of my own '76 yellow since I've pulled the engine to replace the stator. I'll probably end up replacing the seals on both sides anyway, but having the right tool certainly would make the job easier.

Thanks.
