I really thought I would save a ton of weight and complexitivity by simplifying the wiring
BUT
There was not really that much to simplify.
I suppose the biggy was getting rid of (what is that thingy called that tells you if you have a bulb burned out)
I also got rid of the handlebar mounted kill switch, clutch switch & stuff like that.

worked on the wheels today
I've allways NOT liked the 1100 13 spoke wheels.
IMHO they look too bulky & heavy

i noticed the round rod welded to the bottom of the shock mount. whats that all about?

The mods to the wheels look good.
They will really stand out If you follow through with the polishing.
Might I suggest holes drilled in the center of the spokes.
