It has to be a lot of work to spearhead one of these gatherings. I am interested and would probably attend. I will plan on it but can't say for sure without knowing when everyone can gather.

Watching this as I plan on trailering my '82 and '84 to Oregon this summer so I can give the '82 to my grandson. He wanted to ride somewhere with me so this might be a good outing.

If you come through Boise, on I 84, give a shout. There are a couple local roads that are pretty good to ride on: Hwy 55 between Horseshoe Bend and Cascade, and further out Hwy 129 between Asotin, WA and Enterprise, OR.

Come on guys, would be great if you all could put something together. There is club money to help with costs of reserving a campsite and to off set some food cost and other items. Or just a small plan to meet up, everyone covering their own expense and cost. But it's nice to eat on the club dollar. Just get something together and let the moderators know. If interested you can also be granted access to the Run think tank to help process and plan.

Sorry guys, I've been unable to keep up with the board. Its been a busy season for me. I wont be able to co ordinate a run this year, but encourage anyone who wants to put something together to do so. I'll work on the 2017 run over the winter.

Warren I don't think I can do the whole trip with ya, but maybe I can ride out a little way with ya. PM me a few more details.

Yessir. Can you give particulars? If we firm something up, I'll bet other members will show up.

So maybe something impromptu late July early August?
any location set yet?
Im in San Diego. Would be kinda nice to ride up the Pacific coast highway if anyone is in to that.

for organizing a "ride" how many days does it typically cover and mileage each day?
I assume camping preferred to hotel or is that up to the person?

I know Sunbobb really busy this year, is anyone heading this up 2016 right now or is it as it seems an informal meetup?

To my knowledge nobody is heading it up. If we can settle on a time and place to meet, those there can work something out. I can't comment on 'rides' because I gave up on group riding some time back. I'm too slow for everyone. Kettle Falls has a big campground and would be a decent place to meet up. I'd meet up there but probably be staying in a motel. Arthritis and the ground don't go well together.

I'm slow too. I think id be up for a weekend ride, maybe a long weekend 3-4 days up the coast. maybe somewhere to meet in the middle. Thinking roughly of driving from CA route 1 to 101 and up the coast to Santa Cruz of the SF Bay area. Hotels or camping fine with me either way. If anyone interested let me know feel free to PM me as well, would be good to meet some of the West Coasters (i moved here last year from Ohio and am just starting to ride again)

A Valkyrie buddy and I are headed up the left coast late this week. Headed from Phoenix to Santa Barbara on Friday. Saturday up to Salinas and staying there for a couple of days to spend time at Laguna Seca for the action. After that, we're pretty loose for next week. As Phoenix boys, we're staying close to the coast and cooler weather. If anyone is in the Big Sur area next week, we'll be doing the run down the PCH from Monterey at least twice...

The more the merrier! But, even solo, that area is fine riden' country.

A ride is usually just a day ride around the area selected for the get together. Pretty informal usually. Someone with local knowledge plans and leads the ride. Or you can go off and do your own thing.

I just talked with Warren and he should be posting up soon. I would look for him in the Seattle area late the first week of August.
