Thanks. I was about to post this myself. I plan to ride one of my GL1000s over (but, it's only about 15 miles for me).

Sorry to hear of his passing.
Never met him but was a well known name. He will be missed by many.

Not only did we lose a very helpful "Old Wing Guru" but a beloved expert and friend to the GW community. Mark (his son) has decided to shutter the business. Anyone know of another Carb Expert that can do these carbs expertly like Pete did?

Says I'm a Noob, LOL. Not sure why my "other name" was inactivated as I have never said an ill word to a soul in my life. lolol

See Robin 1731 on the site here, as he is an approved carb rebuilder with expertise on these carbs and forum moderator too.

1967 CL175K0 - Low production number with #802 engine serial- winter 2019/2020 full restoration.
1972 CB350F - Baby Four with low mileage - Cosmetic refresh to the next level 2021/2022.
RIDERS AND FUN TOYS:
1978 CB550K - Very original bike with only 7499 Km. from new - light cleanup and refresh done.
1983 CB1100F - Canadian model - DOHC Supersport in pristine low kilometre condition from new.
1984 CX650E - Restored summer 2017 - a rare Eurosport model - excellent one owner bike.
