Let’s nail down the dates first of all ...

The 16th is Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) for our Jewish friends. May I suggest another date?
The week before is the Jewish New Year.

Can't do it then as I am leading a ride Sept 8-12. How about August 31-Sept2??
Also can't do it Sept 22-26 as I am leading another ride.

That's before Labor day, we normally stay after that so if people have school, there is less problems.

I had contacted Billy Abner to see if Lil' Abners was available for Sept 7-9 or Sept 14-16, 2021, and if he would host our NGW group again this year. He has not replied at this time. We don't have to have the meet there, or even in Kentucky this year. Sounds like Blue Thunder might be interested in planning/running the meet this year (2021),

I would only be a backup if nobody else steps up and plans it. Its not a hard job. Just a little planning.

I'm sorry but the last ride was in August. If the rational is to accomodate those with kids in school, then why was the ride held in August?

Can we for the future make the ride the same time each year so we can plan accordingly? For example the 2nd week after Labour Day or the 3rd week in August ? Many forums do this to prevent issues in planning.

Sorry but you have your groups mixed up. Our last eastern rides have been in September! 2020, 2019, 2017, 2016 and on and on.
