I was afraid that this is why Whisker got a request to cancel his membership. I couldn't believe Claude would have requested it but his heirs might have. Terrie and I will miss him he was one to look forward to getting reacquainted with during our various gatherings.

Terrie and I made a point of stopping by his place in Paducah on our return from a bike trip to New Mexico. It was right after his heart attack and he was still recovering and not able to ride. He said it meant the world to him that we took the time to visit for a couple of hours. We are very glad we did that since it seemed to mean so much to him.

RIP old friend.

So sorry to hear this sad news! I only met Claude once, on the Manitoulin run, but he really was a most interesting man. Always a story and a smile! He truly will be missed. RIP Claude

He will be missed. A great person to know. I always looked forward to seeing him at the rallys. He had some great stories and was an easy person to like. Of all of the people that my wife met at the rallies, he probably made the best impression. To this day, she knows who Claude is, but for you other guys.....she requires a description.lol I was always amazed by Claudes ability to ride as far as he did with seemingly little trouble.

My wife asked me "How many bikes does one man need?" My answer "Uhhh.just one more"

He had the best riding posture in the crowd ... ramrod straight back, head held high ... all day long
