Sad news, indeed. I never knew Roady, but I spent a lot of time poring over his shop talk contributions and the Winnie build. His influence goes well beyond those who knew him.

I’m sad to read this about roady. I remember when I joined NGW. His posts about restoring winnie. And his help to any who asked. Rip Stephen.

Roady was a big help to me when I first joined this forum. Taught me how to upload pictures and such....that was over 10 years ago. I also found his tech tips extremely useful. All the best to his family. He will be missed.
Ted.
Cheers...

I went to Roady's place near St L ouis twice with Doug. The welcome from both Steve and his lady Katy was like we had been best friends for years; a fantastic couple. It was a real shock when I first saw the notice on NGW FB forum.
We have lost a great contributor and a real gentleman.
My sincere condolances to Katy and the family.

I'm really sorry for what happened. It only took two messages on the forum for me to understand that he is a good, kind and grateful person. My condolences to his friends and family.

Got a short note from Roady's wife thanking all of us for our condolences. She recalled the Pig Out and what a great time we all had. Steve will be missed by many.

Sorry to hear of Roady's passing. He will be missed I'm sure. I never got to meet him personally but did get to share some conversations with him when I was involved with the development of Shop Talk as a moderator. Very knowledgeable guy.
