There is no mounting instructions, but it looks like where it should go!

I have not taken the baffles out as of yet, real pleased with the sound. All I have ridden with agreed, and where not put off riding behind me.

I didn’t know which to get, in the end I got the stainless muffler system.
Yours looks good too!
My old original system was in good shape, I just wanted a different throaty sound.
Are you running it with or without baffles?
Where does the centre stand stop bracket mount?
If you want a throatier sound, pulling the baffles will certainly do that. It has a nice sound without them in, but it is louder. I can't recall if they are currently in on the 75, but it always sounded better with them out.

The bumper bracket goes to the passenger footpeg mount (at least I think it's the passenger footpeg mount - I have the rearsets mounted there).
It's hard to make out in there. It's really the only place it can go.
I have not run them without the baffles but they sound really good with them.

I had sometime over the holidays to take off the Honda original headers & try the Delkevic ones. I'm not sure I like how they fit, very awkward to assemble. I had trouble with getting them in the correct position & not sure how well they will seal once I run it.
I have put the Honda original headers back on & thinking of just getting a new pipe 7" made & mounted to the Delkevic mufflers.
The thing I like about the original headers is that they a double lined & I had them powder coated Matt Black about 8 years ago & are in great shape. I kind of want it to look original at the front with these Modern retro pipes on the rear, & if I want to switch back, I can.
Thoughts?

The Delkevic exhaust is slightly harder to put together, but stick with it, and you will be rewarded with a very nice system.

Two thoughts,

IMHO, the main issue with the oe exhaust is the head pipes because Honda runs one of the header pipes into the side of the other head pipe, it disrupts the flow unlike a collector that smooths the flow in merging the 2 cylinders flow. On my 76 the interior “double wall” pipe rusted out so that pipe came loose and blocked the flow. Plus it is a much smaller diameter than the outer pipe.

I replaced the oe head pipes with some chrome plated, single walled after market pipes with a true collector ( sorry I can’t remember the brand) that were very popular at the time. I used the stock oe muffler that seems to work well even at over 80 rwhp the last time I had the bike on a dyno. Yes I have tried several different kinds of mufflers but only found more noise no more power. The factory horseshoe muffler with the balance pipe in them is pretty good but at some point it will become a power limiter but not at my current level. A good 4-1 header system will probably out perform it,,,, maybe.

On the Delkevic’s,,, I put their carbon fiber cans on my 14 FJR because they sounded much better than the oe cans w/o being much louder, you really couldn’t hear them over 40mph which again in my opinion is perfect because if you’re touring any added noise adds to the fatigue factor. I never ran them w/o the baffles in because if I wanted a loud, obnoxious bike I would’ve just bought a Harley with straight pipes to go for the maximum annoy the neighbors factor.

The last thing is if you’re looking for more power exhaust is the last place to look as the factory did a pretty good job of eecking the maximum power out of the factory pipes (with the exception of the poor head pipe) the main advantage aftermarket pipes gives you is less weight.

When my friend had his shop with the dyno and I got to watch many bikes run on it very few ever made more power than the stock pipes, most lost power. Screaming Eagle is the only brand that I can think of that consistently made more power than the stock pipes. That’s it, all the others just made more noise.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay.
My furnace quit in -37C & Windshield values making it fell like -47C
I finally got my new Delkevic exhaust system on.
I was impressed with the delivery from the UK, ordered Dec 19th & was at my door on Dec 23rd.
I had some grief with the system going around the side stand, but I contacted Delkevic & they were helpful.
I did not use any ceramic cream, I went on the advice of Delkevic. They turned a nice gold color which looks good.
Here are some pictures.

Have to agree with Don 👍👍

The head pipes look like the ones I used, I know mine are not Delkevic’s but maybe a common supplier and they did make a butt dyno difference,, a little, but we know the “butt dyno” is not an accurate way to gage performance improvements. Corbin seat ?
Enjoy that bike !

The seat was a King & Queen seat which was on the bike when I got it.
I took it in & had them re-sculpture & recover for me locally.
