Very little response on the sale listing so I decided to make some more changes. The parts bike I just got has some decent plastic parts in black that I will use. Will still have to paint the modified shelter. Put a better pair of shocks on the back to enhance the ride. Will also update the headlight to led. A few other things will be done while I'm at it. Hope to be done in time for a local show the middle of September.

A bike show is a good place to sell that one. Seems to work better when they can see it and hear her run.

Presenting the updated color scheme on the 1200 project. Never was real fond of the slightly mismatched red (or red in general). Finished putting all the parts back on and polished her up for the show this weekend. I have some Honda emblems that might dress up the shelter some.

You did a fantastic job on this bike! I raced home last night to read the whole story. Thank you for sharing it with me. You definitely gave me some ideas!

Thanks for the kudo's Keith. There are a few things I might have done differently but it did turn out nicely. The initial purchase was quite rough. If it was in as good of shape as your limited I may have kept it a original.
