Sunday Morning on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Rat and I escorted Liam on the first hundred or so miles of his ride to Long Island to deliver the bike to the shipper.

Gord flew out of Norfolk headed for Toronto at 6 am and Liam was at the Shippers on Long Island at 8:30AM delivering his bike. By now he should be on his way to Philly to catch his flight home tomorrow.
Great adventure! Great Big Thank You to all who contributed

I got the bike dropped off to the shipper this morning and then travelled to Philadelphia airport for the flight back home, where I am currently adding the finishing touches to a pint of amber nectar.
I agree with Rat, for me, the whole trip would not have been possible without the help of the boss. I am grateful for him collecting the bike and bringing it to his shop. I am grateful for him to be my eyes and to go through the bike to make out a list of needed parts and work to be done. I am grateful for the use of his shop, I am grateful for the opportunity to work beside him. I am grateful for his knowledge and consideration knowing that I am riding on the wrong side of the road for me. I am grateful that all the above provided me with the opportunity to meet all of you fine folks, albeit for too short a time. In the fullness of time, perhaps we can improve on that. More meetups, more time.
I should not forget that Steve and Rusty invited me into their home, without knowing me as anything as a guy on the internet. I was made feel most welcome, and we did have some good conversations.
On a scale from 1 to 10, this trip hits a strong 12 for me.
I wish all of you health and happiness till the next time. I've never been to Kentucky.......
Would not have done those things if I did not think it would be a good time. It was and I had fun!!

Fred Camper wrote:Great news Liam, many high risk items for you making your flight in Philly. Glad that worked out as scheduled. Nice being your roommate also.
Your kind offer was another piece of the jigsaw put into place. I thank you for that.
Most kind of you. Great to have finally met you.

At the moment I am sitting at home on the couch. Flight home was supposed to be 6 hours and 10 but somehow they knocked 25 minutes off that. Must have been a tailwind.
Nice to meet you, and hope to see you again, down the road buddy

Thanks for all the pictures, everyone. Having lost my phone I needed those. This was a very needed break for me. I thank you all for a great time. Claude
