after that you should get some clear epoxy an apply it so that the whole piece has an even surface. then cut and buff and it will look like late model emblems. and they wont be able to accumulate any grime either.

I want to take a mid-project minute to thank a few people who have been involved in this project. Reb, for offering to line me up with a bike, Roady for some great graphics, Robin for working the heads, Dangeruss for rescuing the original body panels, Charlie and Deek for the powder coating, and Hamster for drilling the rotors. You guys are all great and I could not imagine doing this without you. Also a thanks goes out to the members who have posted such great ideas, and talked to me behind the scenes about everything from decals to superchargers... Lastly, to Octane, for his insightful documentation of the original build. It's the sharing around this place that makes it such a great venue to hang around.

Too bad this bike can't make a tour of all the members before delivery to the owner. When it's done of course, which is a way's off yet I know. ;)

I was just pleased as punch that you asked me to do a small part in this amazing build. Kudos to you for seeing the opportunity and grabbing it before it passed.

It takes a village to raise a Bob. Wish I could contribute, but the only thing I can think of is much encouragement. Great work on documenting and for being at the helm on this build.
