Thanks for all the compliments.

The cbr is going to get a sidecar in januari, but thats been done by the owner himself.
I just needed to build him a leading link.

Yesterday I spend hours and hours to look and think about the footpegs in relation towards the exhaust. And decided i want to keep the original position after all, but with the zx6r controls. So i need to build two small subframes for that... Which means more work for the overtight schedule...

pictures to show what I meant in my previous post.
WP_20151223_015.jpg
the foodpegs make it a big mess of intervering lines and also the exhaust needs to go backwards more then I want.
and last but not least: i expected to make te seat more comfortable by placing the foodpegs a little bit backwards, but on the contrary...
probably also because I don't want to give it extreme clipp ons, but a more active straight up position with wider bars.
WP_20151223_018.jpg
okay, this is without the pegs on, but you I'm sure you all just can admit it will bring a much cleaner look.
So indeed Cyborg: it will gain much more fun :)

talking about Fun: i'm seriously considering to also make the lower triple tree plate in the same way as the upper... (The Fun is never the trouble, but I seem to bring myself into trouble every time again and again by keep changing the plans and getting more and more extreme ....

The tube top triple is very cool! Do you plan to do any post welding machining to keep everything parallel?
Broken 1976 gl1000... and a few others

i'll try to weld in a smart order... and I will build a welding mould to keep things parallel and then I hope I will be safe as there is no tolerance left for post machining.
its a concern for sure, but we'll see. I might be Lucky ;)

I spend Xmas eve to shape the bars. It took me several hours before i was satisfied... :-?

but now I'm pretty happy with the result.
the seat position will be a little bit bending forward for my back, but for sure not too extreme as I want this bike to make many miles.
probably a low pair of clipons might look cooler, but this will gain more riding fun and it still looks low enough for me.
