Just a bit of forward progress each day and you will be riding her again in no time. You have already completed the majority of the work it seems.

So what does a randack carb kit cost? Since they are on vacation they don't even put prices up.

It's around $200 for an 1100 kit, maybe $50 less for the 1000.

IMO the price isn't important if the carbs need done. If you use cheap aftermarket kits you get what you pay for. If you price OEM Honda parts you end up paying more than Randakk charges for his kits. And you get rubber parts compatible with todays fuel. This isn't a push for Randakk. I have used a few of his kits on customer bikes. I just wouldn't go any other way knowing the pain that these carbs can be.

Well I am here again hoping I can get something done on the bike, seems when I get going something happens. I had 2 car accidents (not my fault) and 9 months of physical therapy so far but I am feeling better now so hopefully.........shhh knock on wood

So my carbs are spanky clean from a cleaning I did some time ago.So I might send them to Pistol Petes or get a kit to do them over.

You do learn more using the kit than at Pete's. Both are great options, but I too like to get the learning.

You won't regret doing it yourself. Take your time, take a lot of pictures and ask a lot of questions.

Haven't used that vendor or any other for a seat cover. Take it to an upholsterer and have it recovered. Price may be close to that replacement cover and it will be done by a professional using much better material.
Look around where you live there is most likely someone there that specializes in motorcycle seats in the upholstery business.
