I had a great time renewing old friendships and meeting some new friends. Sorry to hear that Roady was under the weather. He was missed. I had a really nice ride down, about 20 miles, on a beautiful sunny day. I was a little chilly but I had plenty of cold weather gear and it was just nice to get out for a short ride.

Looking forward to next month then again in April where the 3rd weekend coinsides with the Moon Shine run. Tough decision but I'm sure we'll think of a compromise and possibly make both or???

I really didn't think you guys would want what I got.

So, you're thinking that the Moonshine run is on March 17th? The Moonshine Lunch Run website says April 14th. That won't coincide with any of our "3rd Saturday" plans.

If y'all want to stop by on the way to Moonshine I could have a decent breakfast setup for you.

It was a pleasure finally meeting some of the local guys and sharing a few stories. I shared the pirate trivia with my kids and even told them that I met a real pirate myself.

This morning gave me the motivation to dive right back in. I pulled my carbs and set the float heights and re-installed them. I painted and mounted my headers and worked on the exhaust this evening. I'm thinking I need to go get either some sheet metal or fittings for the ends of the headers since the harley pipes do not fit very snug, even after wrenching the clamps all the way down. This gives me something to do tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll fire her up for the first time tomorrow!

I look forward to getting to know you guys more.

Take Care,

Are we on for this Saturday's Breakfast Run? Momma is hinting at going to St Patty Day festiviies. I'm not much on crowed areas that are not set up for crowds.
