Yes, your memory is correct. Aha... i thought that any fuse holder that could hold a 30 A spade fuse also would be rated for one. If I pass a store I might just get a now holder, worth a try as you say. Shouldnt be to urgent though. 2 fuses in about 4500 miles.

We wake up at the Grand Canyon motel in Fredonia just on the Arizona/Utah state line. First stop was the Coral Pink Sand Dunes state park. We spent a good time just hanging around in the sand watching rocks and things...
After that we went through Mount Zion. It was really impressive... the whole park is an incredible experience on a motorbike. It just goes on and on! We went up to the Kolab reservoir trying to get out, but when the dirt road turned to mud road it was time to give up and back track quite a bit. Racing against the sundown we made it out and on to Cedar City. The whole day was beautiful... always the incredible mountain backdrops...

Are those guitars on the back? Keep the pic's coming for us that don't get to travel much. Also if you get up this way and need a place to stay and a home cooked meal let me know. Or if the bike needs anything.
Keep the shiny side up.

Those are sitars actually... we met first time in India because we both go there to study the music. On the bike we bring travel sitars that are a bit flatter and easier to carry, so that we still can keep in practise.
Home cooked meal sounds good! Where are you at?

Waking up at Cedar City, we drove through Dixie National Forest. The mission for the day was to find the cabin Amandas grampa built, and where she spent a lot of happy childhood days it seems. We tried to find it last year too, but only came close. This year we had better luck. Nice peaceful area. We took a walk along the creek in the forest and took a nap there, before carrying on north.
In Antimony we took a break to fill the tank and I was aporoached by the 80+ year old guy at the gas station. "Nice bike... I bought an Indian in the 60's but now my wife hates bikes... youre from Sweden...? We have a cowboy here named Olle Lindgren, about your size... Theres was a japanese tour bus here and he danced with one of the girls, and after that they all lined up to dance with him"
After that it was mostly open range cattle fields up to Salina where we spent the night.

If you get this far north, I'm located in Bellingham wa. About 20 miles south of the Canadian border.
Keep those pic's and story coming. Very inspiring to all of us who don't have the time to do such a long trip

Sounds great! If we manage to keep up the current pace, we'll swing by! Should be on the 18:th, if thats ok with you? Judging from the map, your area must be beautiful...
