I’m storing an ‘83 interstate for nine months through the Florida summer in a garage that probably gets to 100 degrees F often. Tank is full of non-ethanol & Sta-bil, the bowls are drained & petcock turned off. The only troubles are seals that need to be re-swelled with fuel the following January. This year it was the accelerator pump diaphragm that leaked. Replaced it. Then pulled the carbs again to get the speck of dirt that got into a slow jet during reassembly…always an adventure.
