As I grow older, I lose things, most of all, the friends that I never think will go away. Christine, I'm sorry.

I did not know Cookie but from where we stand Cookie has disappeared over the horizon but this is the beginning of a new adventure from his vantage point. May God speed. My condolences to the family.

It is selfish, but human, that we consider Cookie's passing as our loss. We take consolation that his suffering is over, and we have wonderful memories to carry with us. RIP Cookie.

wow
i live about 30 miles south of cookie and was very happy to see that that a fellow goldwing junkie was on this board and so close geographically: assuming that one day we'd meet in person but never putting a huge priority on it as life continually got in the way.

"ask cookie about cheap electric fuel pumps" was on the list for when i got to my next GL1000 project as it is slated to be less original than the current one.... too late now i guess. I know my 8 year old son has enjoyed the Christmas train a few times as well... sad

anyway, Christine if you need extra hands for the inevitable manual labor ahead i might be able to help if timing works out.

RIP Cookie

A true measure of a Man, is the legacy he leaves.

I think he had some pretty large shoes for others to fill.

One of the best tag lines out there. Cookie is one of the reasons this site has always been both an enjoyable place to be as well as useful as beans. He will be missed.
