Bearing sizes are probably different top to bottom.

Hack saw and a free flap wheels on the angle grinder should remove them pretty quickly

I have seen some photos on here where they have hacked off the bar risers it left holes in the tree that look really cool IMO. You could keep on the safety glasses and trim off the gauge mounting tabs in the front.

Looking kinda like a "transformer" auto-bot. Megatron will not like this!!!! Agree with keeping it a little edgy. Maybe add "radioactive" signage/sticker???

Might use the area of the mounts for a horizontial tach/speedo OR bolt a wrench, small hammer, pliers there. OR use it mount a bedroll or small tool bag like Bronson. :8)

Looks like a great mounting position for a gps, But you are interested in getting junk off the bike not adding more. Maybe just have the tabs milled down by a guy with really nice safety glasses. :)

Way cool fish!
Pretty creative fabricating. Can you incorporate anything or ideas from an MRAP?

Here's my spin on fabricatin a custom seat. Went to HF for the parts.

I was thinking of using a BPMTU to make reverse for my trike

Battery Powered Motorized Traversing Unit (BPMTU)

The ring mount base allows the gunner to rotate the HMMWV turret a full 360° but it can be difficult to move the weight of the weapon, shielding, ammunition and other components, especially if the vehicle is not level. Motorized turret systems have been developed to solve this problem.

By 2006, engineers at the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) designed the Battery Powered Motorized Traversing Unit (BPMTU) which provides a HMMWV gunner with powered cupola operations.

The BPMTU consists of a user interface system with a magnetic base, a system control assembly, an emergency stop switch, a break-away connector, and a motor and drive assembly. The BPMTU is energized with its own rear-mounted power supply, positioned to help counterbalance the weight of the gun, mount and shield. In operation, BPMTU provides a variable turret slew rate, instant rotational change (clockwise to counterclockwise and vise versa), and an automatic lock. BPMTU includes motor disengagement to enable the gunner to manually rotate the cupola. Installation is accomplished with no major modifications to the turret or HMMWV. BPMTU mounts in existing holes and mounting locations.

I allways felt like the sidecovers were too fat
skinny NGW 003.JPG
Allways felt she would look batter if she was thinner around the middle
On the battery side I put in a smaller battery & relocated the start solenoid, this allowed me to have a perfectly flat sidecover
skinny NGW 004.JPG
On the right hand side the fuel tank was the issue.
so A 4 ton porta-power made short work of that
