Engine:
- 1)
VHT Engine light primer...................Art.nr: SP-148 (2 Pcs. Spraycan 400 ml)
- 2)
VHT Engine universal aluminium......Art.nr: SP-127 (2,5 Pcs. Spraycan 400 ml)
- 3) 2 Component-(gloss)clearcoating from:
AUTO-K-Spraymax 2K Klarlack Hochglanz (incl. Härter) Sprühdose 400ml........Art.nr: 680061 (3 Pcs. "two in one"-spraycan 400 ml.) (better resistant against petrol and oil)
Very nice, glossy and "hard" total result !
Frame:
Initially: primercoat, black glosspaint and gloss clearcoat (
VHT)......result was not satisfactory because the gloss clearcoat was (strangely) reducing the gloss of the black paint
Started over again: with a general type of black glosspaint and no clearcoating.
Headers/exhaust:
Initially: 3 layers
VHT SP-100 Flame Proof Primer (704-1093 gr. C.) und 3 layers
VHT SP-102 Flat Black Flameproof (Silica-Ceramic Coating / 704-1093 gr. C.).........was not a succes at all; within 30 minutes of running the engine the black top layer started curling off by unknown reasons / could be my fault during the process / was not reproducable "why/how" / the VHT grey primer remained excellent.
Started over again: with use of the existing grey
VHT primer coating I applyied a 2 layer matt black heatproof exhaustcoating (800 degr. C.) from
MOTIP-Duplicolor..........after running the bike the result remains excellent.
Naked alu-parts:
After matt-polishing (No mirror/chrome aspirations) covered by 2-3 layers of 2 Component-(gloss)clearcoating from:
AUTO-K-Spraymax 2K Klarlack Hochglanz (incl. Härter) Sprühdose 400ml........Art.nr: 680061 (3 Pcs. "two in one"-spraycan 400 ml.)
