I was sort of thinking about flying over for a few days maybe middle next month
meeting up with the guy and taking the bike away, to hopefully store it somewhere nearby
and get it ready for a road trip down to South Carolina in September. I would expect it needs some work
like a full service, belts need changing, maybe tyres etc.
I am trying to formulate some plans to see where to go next.
If anyone has any ideas where I could rent some storage space for a few months, I would be interested to hear them.

[i][quote="RAT"]Well .... Greg and I are staying with a friend in Windsor the evening of Wednesday April the 15th. We wre going to ride up to your place on Thursday the 16th so we could all ride to St Louis on Friday the 16th .....

But we're flexible, we could visit our friend and then meet you in Detroit.

I am near Detroit. So consider me a source. After all I stole your muffler and the 993 when you blinked. So I will help if you need it.

Laim has bought a bike, but I do not think he was able to get it home yet. So he is still holding his breath. He has not been on this site in a spell.

Remember when you change out the left side handlebar controls and mirror mount, to install the mount for the mirror before spending 30 minutes pushing and pulling the wire loom back in. Unless of course you need practice.
