Saturday I packed up the frame and other parts into the Jeep and took it to work. Settled on some black enamel that has a catalyst (hardner) you add before painting. I let it hang in the booth over the weekend then brought it all back home.
Shiney parts are a real motivator! :-D

Thanks Neil... funny you mentioned Barracuda Orange, I'm thinkin "Plum Crazy" and silver for the shelter and side covers.

*UPDATE* (Gotta keep my build thread going so you guy's don't think I'm slackin!)
Spent some good quality time on the scooter today. Hmmm, my name is Scott, people occasionally call me Scooter, maybe I'll name it "Scooter's Scooter" :P
Anyhoo, A while back I polished the front forks and installed the triple tree, I have been working on the wiring harness, darn glad I labeled all the connectors and took pics as I disassembled. Made it much easier to re-route.
Today I got the rear wheel bearings removed, cleaned and repacked. Rear rotor refaced and installed. Lubed the final drive with the High Moly grease as recommended and reassembled the rear end.
I either clean-n- polish, or blast or Naval Jelly, then repaint every nut and bolt or small widget along the way. Cracked a cold one, stood back and took a look and I likes what I see so far.

This is one thing a lot of folks take for granted. One mistep with that harness can cause a bunch of trouble. I once routed one under a support instead of over it and it cost me the better part of a day to fix it. She looks like she is coming along very nicely!!

I just notice my breather hose ended up under my gas tank. I'll trim it off and run another rather than pull that sucker again. Maybe that's why it went in hard.
It's hard to remember where all that stuff went later.
