Nice work jb. I'm reminded of candy when I see your bike, but can't put my finger on the flavor...

JBZ, are those beach bars? Where did you find them? I also like the low profile, but effective windshield.
I found the end of the internet

Thanks. No just 1100 bars pivoted fairly low. I was going to put some setbacks with them but they feel just right , right now. The Randakks grips dont hurt either. I think they are the best you are going to find for the 1000s. The windshield is so so , maybe keeps a little wind of the chest but that will be fine for now. I put a wider 110 metzleer up front <real close to the fender>with a fork brace, 130 kenda challenger rear and the rear air shocks aint bad. It tracks real nice. JB

NICE!
Don't suppose that rear grab bar is the one I sold ... Is it?
If it is, I sure am proud to be a small part of that beautiful bike.

We need a better pic in HIGH RES. I like that bike and would love to see it in more detail.

Well, I'm a little late to the prom but your bike looks great!!!! Borrowing some tags is one of my old tricks; I once "found" some that belonged to the chief of police...but they worked as well as any..!!!!

Re: 77 greenwing
Went up to Virginia City this week and finally made myself legal and then put a couple hundred miles on it. Its a kick . My right ankle didnt like the stock pegs. It has too much hardware from previous accidents and couldnt get comfortable. I almost put some floorboards on it but found some 1500 pegs in my peg bin. A little grinding and I have to shuffle my feet a tad but much better. These are actually a little wider than the ones on my 83 Aspencade and stick out a tad and used the stock 1000 mounts. They sit about a 1/2 inch lower. Ill have to come up with a spring return . I may have to put a bigger windshield on some day .JB

Re: 77 greenwing
Love the pegs, looked for a set at a scrap yard but as they were all removed from the bikes it made it really hard to find two that matched and even more difficult to figure out if they would fit.
