I bet the elk motorcycle is more elusive than the elk I was looking for. (more expensive too!)

Starting in 1975 all street USA Hondas came with the constant on head light. The switch could be from a number of models(73 or 74's) like my 750s' I would like to see how that is wired up? cause I would put that on a few of my bikes. I think you got a nice deal on that GW. ColorRite has the paint for you but new paint will look a little different than old paint. they won't let me post it wit the www or the
dot com. Check em out their paint is really nice. Head

Well, no progress on the bike lately. I have been to busy hunting. I just got back from a South Dakota pheasant hunt with my son and 10 other guys.

I believe that I now have most of the parts except for the 77 seat. The bike will just have to wait until after deer season now. I'll probably start working on the project again after the Holidays.

Yep Roadster, I real blast! I had not been hunting with my son for 8 years. He drove from Denver and I from Toledo. Probably the last trip for my bird dog. She is 10 and really struggled. In her day she was as good as there was. We used to field trial across the Midwest. She won enough tournaments that she received her Champion status in 05. At the national Trials in 06, were it not for me missing a shot, she may well have been the National Doubles Champ. (She forgave me eventually) Good Times, then and now. Carpe Diem, Baby!

Spent a little bit of time working on bike parts. I got the rear master cylinder rebuilt and some of the parts repainted.

Very nice, good to see that inspection dot properly placed, so many folks get them a mm off and then the rear brakes squeak when you try to stop. Very important on a LTD you know.

I wondered what was causing that squeak on the 77! I can't take credit for the dot on the rear M/C as that is original and has not been repainted. I haven't put the dots back on the calipers yet. It's on the TO DO list.
