Re: J. Wrights Gl 1100 bobber build
Ok... Ive been working alot lately so not much time for the project. I did manage to get a start on the tank. The old bottom and tunnel has removed, new tunnel and bottom tacked in, front fillers starting to take shape. Fillers are not done but this will give you an ideal on what Im going for...... thoughts?

Re: J. Wrights Gl 1100 bobber build
Why is it whenever I try to work with sheet metal it ends up looking like the work of a five year old with blunt scissors? Nice work.

Re: J. Wrights Gl 1100 bobber build
just got my custom throttle and clutch parts in the mail. Finally found a fuel filler I liked so I ordered that. Trying to decide between flat drag bars or low rise. Hopefully more updates soon

Re: J. Wrights Gl 1100 bobber build
got my fuel filler/cap in the mail today. Already modified it. Cut the filler tube down where the fuel hose usually connects and drilled a small vent hole for it to breath. This is a marine fuel filler cap, all ss steel, pop up cap with key. Now to modify the tank to get it mounted up.
