Re: 76 cafe resto/restore
Got the wiring harness back in and turn signals arrived and fitted those along with the new mirrors new brake pads arrived as well, I ordered some mp08 coils and new tires that should be here this week sometime. Getting close to paint time, I've painted quite a few cars and a lot of motorcycles I want to do something subtle yet eye catching with a mixture of gloss black and Matt black wrap. The video at the bottom is the first bike I ever painted.

Machined some parts today a bracket for the gauges that pull them in close and get rid of the dummy lights. Then a new master cylinder resivor bracket and one to hold the brakes lines in place.

I wasen't happy with the first draft of brackets so I re did them and think they look much better now. The Devils in the details.

Re: 76 cafe resto/restore
I do enjoy using the machine at work. The bosses are very good about letting me stay after to make what ever I want which I very much appreciate. New brackets installed and the fender installed. Debating on looking for a different front fender mines a tad rusty.

Re: 76 cafe resto/restore
So some interesting news I have been planning for awhile to use the Langdon Stovebolt weber carb. I did about a month and half of research on the topic. I realize that its in no way a performance upgrade, I just enjoy building things and have built a plenum for my 94 trans am to have a double barrel scoop to sit a-top it its fully functional and uses 2 square k&n filter elements
Here are some pictures of the setup I'm contemplating for the GL plenum and the trans am. Also just for fun I made a Star Wars ATAT on the router and put it together with little bolts haha

Re: 76 cafe resto/restore
I like the headlight bonnet. You could buy another, mount it backwards as a bug deflector. As far as 5speed is concerned about all the machines & talent, check this out: I have a Mr. Coffee Machine and a Jack Lalanne Juicer, & I can use 'em, baby.
If there is one thing I have learned throughout this process it is this: Check your respirator for spiders before you put it on.

Re: 76 cafe resto/restore
So I've been busy lately I bought a 2000 ZRX1100 for a good deal and have been tinkering with that. Now that all of my parts have arrived for my single carb I'm back on the Goldwing.
I've made some custome peices for the 1 carb setup but I can't upload my pictures tonight for reason I'll have to try in the morning.

Here is the pic of my carb setup as of right now, I machined a throttle cable bracket and machined a peice that holds the cable end and acuates the butterflies.
