Sorry Roady, I really liked your design but I just didn't have the time or tools to convert it to only two colors. As it stands here's the analysis of your image:
In order to have any detail I would have had to redraw the entire image using only two colors.
Here's an example of what happens when I start the process. I spent a few minutes trying to get the image down to just the black and yellow you requested. As you can see there's very little detail left in the bike.
If you'd like to rework your image I'd be more than happy to put it back in the contest:
Please remember, these shirts are going to be screen printed, not lithographed. In screen printing they push ink through a screen onto the shirt. Each individual color requires a different screen. And, the amount of detail obtainable is rather limited. Fine detail will be lost. Gradient colors will get pushed to one color or another. Take a look once again at Sunnbob and my images. You'll see there's no gradient colors. These types of images are suitable for screen printing.

The image gets submitted to the t-shirt guys and they will do the work. Shades of the same color count as one color. For instance, from black you can get solid black and many levels of gray.
I suggest that you submit the art to the t-shirt company for their input.
Well, I worked over the image a little bit more and came up with the following design. Roady, can you get me a higher resolution image if needed?
I've added Roady into the poll. If you have already voted you can still add one additional vote for Roady if you wish. You get a total of 2 votes in the poll.
I didn't realize adding someone to the poll would reset the votes! Sorry if you've already voted... You'll need to vote again!

Paul could you bring up all 3 designs on one post just so there is no confusion over what 3 we are looking at?

Keep those votes coming in! You have 3 more days to place your votes!
I put the following images together to demonstrate what I believe the final images will look like once printed on a dark blue shirt to give you all a better idea of what you're actually voting for. I'm no expert in any of this so please forgive me if I've screwed anything up. I'm trying really hard to make this contest as interesting as possible and trying to give everyone a fair shot at winning. Any suggestion or comments are greatly accepted! Color suggestions for the design colors or shirt color are mostly welcomed!
Sunnbob and Roady, if I've misrepresented your images in any way or if you have additional comments or concerns, contact me right away and I'll make any corrections you want.

Update, Contest ends tomorrow, June 4 as described in the first post. I am still planning on placing the shirt order this Saturday, June 5. Once I place the order, I will not be taking any more orders. All shirts must be paid in advance before I place the order. The price for the shirts is $15 and $5 SH. This is with the understanding that I would meet the minimum quantity of 20 shirts. As it stands I've had a grand total of ZERO shirt orders. Depending on the number of shirts ordered, the original suggested price of $15 may not cover the cost. If this is the case I'll be forced to adjust the price. If there is a price adjustment and you have ordered a shirt I will contact you with the difference. All payments must be made before I mail your shirt.
