I made it home last night around 8:45 or so. Pics will follow once I get all the cameras together. Ethan and I had a blast at the run. was really relaxing vacation for us. He got a little board at times but never got miserable. I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know more of you guys. Richard thanks for putting it together and coordinating everything. Corn hole was a big hit. I only took 2 pics on my phone when we found a town with our last name, I think Anakin and I found our roots.

I think we hit 1000 miles since the route doesn't have all our little excursions. It mapped out at 981 miles. Ethan loved it and so did I. Only thing I would have changed was I need at least a small windshield. The head winds coming through the Columbia basin are killer, I estimated them to be around 40 with whipping gusts around 50-60. I was being thrown around like a doll in a dogs mouth. we got 3 small 5 minute showers on the way there on Thursday, one small 2-3 minute one on Saturday and a small drizzle on Sunday.

I need to get communication between our helmets cause the attempt of hand signals at 65 with head winds at 40 and a semi whipping you around can get confusing. we finally figured a few tap signals where he tapped me told me what he wanted, lol.

You pretty much have to host the pics somewhere else. We got a great site but our photo hosting sucks.

I am regretful that I was only able to stay for one night but had a real fine time none the less. The ride in with Ham and Jimmy and Ethan was fun.
The food and conversation was terrific, thanx Richard for being the point man in this endeavour.
And who could forget the dynamic, though short lived, corn hole team of Adam and Brian? Is there a professional circuit?

Rode home across the top of Washington and aside from some rain from Kettle Falls to the top of the first pass along Boulder Creek Road, it was dry and even got hot over towards Oroville. Crossed the border at Knighthawk. The road through this area is jaw droppingly spectacular!

Maybe next year Ill be able to stay for the whole time.

I beg to differ.

Host them in the Gallery, that works good.

I heard of a cornhole team in high school; but that's a subject for a different forum. ;)
