Congratulations on your Wing being chosen as BOTM. The more I read this thread the more I think it has a shot at Bike of the Year. Amazing workmanship.

Well done. No questions this month about whether its deserving or not in my mind. I'm not far from nodding for BOTY(and the only hangup there is going back to review what seems like a paltry year here.) That you have capped off this year in best of show fashion is hard to dispute.

You, Sir, are a craftsman.

It's easy to remember that last one you saw. Then when the review comes up you forgot how nice Jan. or April BOTM was. (just random months there) Now it get's tough to decide. I remember at least two BOTM's that many people were calling BOTY almost immediately. ;)

What a fantastic job a bike to drool over. Congrats Don
I bought a 1975 a year ago And just got it going. It hadn't run since 1999 and of course the carbs looked just like yours. It runs pretty good just haven't had it on the road yet winter caught up with me.
Would love to see yours in person.
Again great job.

If the weather is decent, I'm planning on doing a New Years Day ride to Luckenbach to start the new year right!

I will be thinking of you Motowalt, and hope the (new years day) weather will be on your side, and I love the way your bike finished out. great paint, overall design going for that cafe look!! detail through out and above all cleanliness. As for me New Years Day we'll be up north at the Lake and I plan to do some ice fishing hahaha. With friends form Oshkosh and celebrate with a Fondue Dinner doing Stake, Shrimp, Chicken, potatoes and mushrooms. salads and of course several different wines.
Have a great ride wish I was riding next to you!!!
