Jim and I trailered our bikes (76 LTD with a Vetter fairing and lowers painted to match the bike for Jim, and the June BOTM, the Sulfur yellow 76 GL1000 for me). We had to trailer from Western WA because Jim is having a hip replacement in a couple of weeks and has to walk with a cane, and can only ride short distances. We'd hoped to be able to make a ride in Kettle Falls but rain and thunderstorms plus our late arrival made that a no go. Jim had an appointment with his surgeon on Friday morning, so we missed meeting gowing (sorry man, I was really hoping to meet you), Bugdaddy66, Sagebrush, and others, who came and went before we arrived on Friday evening. Sorry to have missed all of you. Next year we will get there sooner. But we had a wonderful time and were glad we drove the 16 hours round trip for the 6 hours of conversation that we were able enjoy. We appreciated every moment and our time with each person. The cooking was gourmet (Thanks Jim and Ron) and I was more than impressed with the mechanical knowledge that was shared among the group. Richard, always humble, you are a fountain of knowledge. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and research. Also thanks to Richard for his evident hard work in putting the run together, buying food, and tending to the administrative details that made it a success. See you all next year.
