Still thinking of you, hoping and praying across the miles.
Previous Rides,
1980 CB250N Good to learn on
1981 CX500 good mid range tourer, went to Austria on it!
1983 GL1100C Pride and joy, sold when I bought my 1st house, big mistake
1985 GL650 Silverwing another mistake, horrible bike
1986 CBX550 Good commuter
1989 Suzuki GS750 (1976) cheap and cheerful until a dog ran out in front of me on Xmas Eve, 1991
Current bikes
2010 CB1300 back on a bike after 19 years, two divorces, children grown up etc
1980 GL1100 NOW ON THE ROAD, still use CB1300.

Re: Better Half Departed to be with her Lord
Debbie departed me at 3 pm this afternoon. She does get to spend Fathers day with her Mom and Dad now. Appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. My boys and I are together this afternoon and that has its own reward. So nice that my bride could shed her earthly infirmities and be glorified in Heaven above.

Re: Better Half Departed to be with her Lord
I and my wife pass our condolences to you and your boys. Nothing we can say can ease the pain of your loss. All that we can say is we feel for you and the family at this time. Like many on here I am sure we would all like to help in any way we can, but it doesn't take away the burden, reduce the pain, or help with the grief. But maybe knowing that we members of this club and others that you are members of will all feel the same way when we say stay strong, crying is allowed because your life partner has left this mortal world. I am in tears as I writ this, not knowing you make it worse for me as with many of my clubs I feel that I am with friends and that even the distance between us is so small. All our love to you and yours.
Ian and Elisabeth.

Very happy for her that the pain is gone and she gets to begin her journey through eternity with her lord.

Re: Better Half Departed to be with her Lord
Fred,
I'm so very sorry. They say you die twice; once when you draw your last breath, and again when someone utters your name for the last time. Speak of your lovely wife often and she will live on.
