Went out to meet up with this years Cannonball Run. They were stopping for the night about 100 miles south of me. About 80, pre 1930 bikes traveling from Virginia Beach to Oceanside CA. Only saw 3 bikes on the chase trailer.

Also spotted a very nice looking 1200 on the parking lot. Left him a card. I'll upload a picture shortly.

Yea the Cannonball Run launch was covered here on the local news last weekend. Might have gone to it but was not aware of it until after it happened.

Ordered a new rear tire for the big bike.

Changed the back tire on the big bike. Getting too old for this stuff. First the irons tried to kick my butt then lifting the bike back up did. Had to call my neighbor for help. I have probably changed that back tire 5 or 6 times and this was the first time I could not lift the bike back up. Guess I will have to break down and start using the jack and doing it that way. Anyway she is good for another 10,000 miles now.

Nice 200 mile run today with the better half on the back. Had to get it in today as the weather is headed for the dumper for the next few days.

Glad you could the nubs off that new tire. Two up works better for that. Good timing.

Rode out to Kansas City for my grandson's baseball game yesterday and back today. Logged right at 600 miles round trip. Game was entertaining but mow much can you expect from 6 & 7 year olds. Had to hurry back due to my wife being back in the er.

Sounds like a great time Al, still praying for quick healing and knowledgeable caregivers for your wife.
